In this podcast I follow on from last week's podcast when i started to read out my introduction of my Surrogate Parent Plan. Things like my inspiration for writing the book, like murder/suicides, other families who have gone public with their plights and a local fundraiser Young Care. All these things combined, with my normal socialogical factors lead to me writing this book, and I share some of those inspirations in this introduction. I also do a quick Q&A of The Surrogate Parent Plan. Don't forget to leave a review on iTunes or my blog www.TheSurrogateParent.blogspot.com - thanks, Kate
This blog is Kate's thoughts on her new eBook "The Surrogate Parent", which is a book on planning for your adult special needs child's care after we parents can no longer be our kids parents. It's about planning for the inevitable in a postivite and constructive way, ensuring our autistic daugher's life will be no less wonderful when we are no longer around to care, love and protect her - her surrogate parent will, funded by the special needs trust fund we have created for her.

A great video from a mere mortal.
I found this on YouTube and loved it!
Rosie is just like this girl, probably bumps around a bit less than this one, and we wouldn't get "thank you" out of Rosie, because its two words in a row.
I hope you do too! Below is his follow up video too!

Why i want my daughter's Surrogate Parent Plan to be a combination of many current-day suggestions for special needs adult care arrangements, but not one of them specifically.
